R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. does not
include shipping charges in the price of our products. The cost of
shipping is figured for each individual order and is determined by
weight and destination. Shipments that do not meet weight and size
requirements by ground delivery will be shipped by freight carrier.
Freight service includes tailgate delivery only. You are responsible for
taking the items off the trailer and into your location. You may
request inside delivery and other services for an additional fee. You
may use your own shipping method by supplying the information required
when placing the order.
All shipments should be carefully inspected by
the customer before acceptance. Immediate inspection by the delivery
carrier should be requested to record any damage or shortage on the
delivery. Notification of concealed damages must be made to the delivery
carrier and R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. within 7 days of delivery of
merchandise. Carrier liability ceases after 7 days.
CAUTION: After
obtaining a clear receipt for shipment, the delivery carrier is no
longer responsible for damages or shortages. Please inspect all cartons
and the products within them for visible damage and count the number of
pieces you received. Note any damage or discrepancies on the carrier's
delivery receipt. If there is any visible damage, or if you discover any
concealed damage during unpacking, do not remove the merchandise or
throw away the shipping carton.
If for some reason you are unable to
inspect the items at the time of delivery, please sign the freight bill
as "subject to inspection". You are liable for damage under the
Interstate Commerce Act if the above instructions are not followed.
Attention:
we will try to respect delivery schedules, however delay in delivery
constitutes no grounds for damage claims.
NO PRODUCT MAY BE RETURNED AFTER 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY DATE. The customer is responsible for freight charges to and from R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. and/or the nearest designated service center. Returned goods will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number (RA#) given by R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. No credit will be given for items damaged in transit. Upon receipt, items will be inspected and if cleared for resale, credit will be given minus a 25% restocking fee.
All
new products sold by R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. are warranted to be
free from manufacturing defect for a period of ONE YEAR from the
shipping date and it is limited to the original buyer. The warranty
covers all manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship when used,
maintained and store under normal commercial use. This warranty is
limited to the repair or replacement of those products or parts of
products which R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. finds and accepts as
defectively manufactured during the warranty period and shall not apply
to any of such product, which in judgment of R&D Why Not Plastic
Inc., has been subject to misuse, negligence, alteration,
misapplication, accident, or which has served its normal life.
The
buyer's sole responsibility under this warranty shall be limited to the
return FOB prepaid within 60 days of any non conforming components.
Notice of defect should be in writing and this warranty will be void if
there is any default in payment or performance of the obligation owed to
R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. by the buyer. There are no other
warranties, either express or implied, which extend beyond the terms and
conditions contained herein. R&D Why Not Plastic Inc. hereby
disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose or otherwise.
